It came into force on <strong>15 November 2000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>JPSC Syllabus<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The JPSC syllabus is divided into two parts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preliminary Examination: <\/strong>It is a written examination consisting of two papers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Paper 1: <\/strong>General Studies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Paper 2: <\/strong>Jharkhand-Specific General Studies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Main Examination:<\/strong> It is a written examination consisting of five papers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Paper 1:<\/strong> General Hindi &amp; General English<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Paper 2:<\/strong> Language &amp; Literature<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Paper 3:<\/strong> Social Science<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Paper 4: <\/strong>Indian Constitution &amp; Polity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Paper 5: <\/strong>Indian Economy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Paper 6: <\/strong>General Science<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The preliminary examination is an objective-type exam and the main examination is a descriptive-type examination.
