It is a financial assistance scheme to finance the education and marriage of girls in the state and to assist them during their education. The objective of the scheme is the all-round development of girls. This scheme was launched in <strong>May 2007<\/strong>. It is a child insurance scheme, which was launched for girls who are from low-income families and cannot afford quality education or marriage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ladli Laxmi Yojana was launched by the then <strong>Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan<\/strong> and currently, it is working in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Goa and Chhattisgarh. However, there were other goals in mind when starting the plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The scheme encourages states to celebrate the birth of girl children without any stress regarding education and marriage finance, thereby improving the girl sex ratio in the state.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To improve the overall health and education status of girls in the state.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Overall controlling the population is one of the many objectives of Ladli Lakshmi Yojana.
