Based on the CDS 1 2025 trends, we estimate that the vacancies will be approximately:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Indian Military Academy (IMA): 100 (approx.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Indian Naval Academy (INA): 30-35<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Air Force Academy (AFA): 30-35<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Officers Training Academy (OTA): 290-300 (including male and female)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note: <\/strong>The number of vacancies varies each year depending on the training capabilities and requirements of the respective academies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria for CDS 2 Exam 2025<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nationality<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The applicant must be one of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A citizen of India<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A citizen of Nepal or Bhutan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962 to permanently settle in India<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A person of Indian origin who has come over from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East African countries or Vietnam to permanently settle in India<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Age Limit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>IMA and INA: 19 to 24 years<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>AFA: 20 to 24 years<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>OTA (Male and Female): 19 to 25 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates for IMA, INA and AFA must be unmarried. Written Exam: <\/strong>Candidates will have to clear the written exam for the academy they are applying to. Only those who clear the minimum cutoff are eligible for the next stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2.
