A roundtable held on platform work in the country recommended minimum wages, social security and legal protections for gig and platform workers. The meeting demanded a tripartite welfare Board for gig workers in all States and at the Central level comprising representatives from employees, employers and governments.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is all geared up for its 101st launch with the PSLV-C61/EOS-09 mission to be launched at 5.59 a.m. on Sunday from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.

India's cough syrup crackdown what prompted it and what follows

A fixed drug combination (FDC), present in several popular brands of cough syrups for children, consists of chlorpheniramine maleate and phenylephrine hydrochloride. The Union Ministry of Health stated that this FDC was likely to involve risk to children below four years of age and restrictions were imposed.
