SC cites citizen's right to move freely, allows euthanasia of 'rabid, dangerous' stray dogs

Underlining that the right to live with dignity under Article 21 includes the right to move in public spaces without fear of dog bites, the Supreme Court on Tuesday allowed euthanasia of stray dogs if they are "rabid, incurably ill or demonstrably dangerous/aggressive", in accordance with the existing rules and laws.
