RPF notification regarding the recruitment process of Sub Inspector and Constable in RPF/RPSF for Railway Police Force Recruitment 2024 has been published on the official website. A total of 4460 vacancies have been released for Constables and Sub Inspectors from the upcoming RPF Recruitment 2024. 10th passed candidates can apply for constable posts and to apply for SI posts the candidate needs a graduation degree. RPF Eligibility Criteria 2024
The eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification and age limit for the post of Constable and Sub Inspector under the Railway Protection Force are as follows.
Educational Qualification:
- SI – Must have a graduate degree from a UGC-recognized university.
- Constable – It is mandatory that the person has passed the matriculation examination.
Age Range:
- SI – Applicant age should not be at least 20 years and not more than 25 years.
- Constable – Age should be below 18 years and above 25 years.
There will be relaxation in the upper age of 10 years for OBC, SC/ST and OBC respectively.
RPF Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The selection process for RPF (Railway Protection Force) generally consists of several stages to ensure the recruitment of eligible and deserving candidates. All the stages will be conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). The selection process may involve the following stages:
- Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT) – The initial stage of the selection process is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) which assesses the candidates’ knowledge in subjects such as General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning.
- Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Candidates who qualify for CBT will have to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET). PET involves physical tasks like running, long jump and high jump. The standards of PET may vary depending on the gender of the candidate.
- Stage 3: Physical Measurement Test (PMT) – Candidates who qualify for PET are required to undergo a Physical Measurement Test to ensure that they meet the prescribed physical standards.
- Step 4: Document Verification – After clearing the PET and PMT, candidates have to provide the necessary documents to verify their eligibility, which generally includes educational certificates, identity proof and other relevant documents.
