SSC CPO Recruitment 2023

There are 4 stages – Paper-I(CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper II &  Medical Test. Candidates qualifying in each stage are shortlisted for Sub Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police and Sub Inspector (General Duty) in CAPFs.

  • Sub-Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police
  • Sub-Inspector (GD) in Border Security Force (BSF)
  • Sub-Inspector (GD) in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
  • Sub-Inspector (GD) in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
  • Sub-Inspector (GD) in Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP)
  • Sub-Inspector (GD) in Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)

Educational Qualification (as of 15.08.2023)

  • For the post of Sub Inspector (GD) in Delhi Police & CAPFs- A candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised University.
  • For the post of SI (Executive) in Delhi Police (Males only)– Male candidates must have a valid Driving License for LMV (Motor cycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Learner License is not acceptable.

SSC CPO SI Age Limit (as of 01.08.2023)

  • Minimum Age Limit – 20 years
  • Maximum Age Limit – 25 years

The age limit is  20-25 years; i.e. Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1998 and not later than 01.08.2003.
Permissible relaxation in the upper age limit for different categories, excluding the departmental candidates of Delhi Police, is in accordance with the provisions of DoP&T OM No. 15012/2/2010-Estt.(D) dated 27.03.2012.

Exam Pattern

  • Questions asked in paper-1 and paper-2 of SSC CPO 2023 will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type.
  • Questions asked in Paper 1 will be bilingual, i.e. in both Hindi and English while Ques. Paper II will be only in the English language.
  • 1/3rd marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer marked by a candidate for both Papers 1 & 2.
